Here’s a quick tip that can save you money if you head to any resorts that belong to the Seibu group. Loyalty point systems are very popular in Japan, and usually work as cashback. You pay 110 yen, and earn 1-3 points. Each point is worth 1 yen again. So you get 1-3% cashback. But the true savings tip is the ski lift tickets discount. Seibu group operates at least these famous resorts:

And each of them offer discount for day tickets. Most of the places offer web bookings with similar discount, but then you miss out on the points.
